This all pales in comparison to the fences of the city itself. Carved from the heart of the mountains themselves, rises a 15 tiered bastion, with each tier bearing a mass of guards and defensive weaponry. Near the centre of the cavern, stoon the single largest statue on the continent, a structure of otherworldly proportion, it bears the likeness of Morradin himself holding up the cavern ceiling on his shoulders. In the darkness of the underground, the city server as a beacon, thousands of lights coming from the streets, the buildings and the walls of the cavern itself, illuminate the city. Unlike most other settlements, Flottyem is build almost entirely of stone and metal, with even the cheapest houses are build to withstand the fury of the earth. Wood can be seen on the outside walls of guilds, foreign shops or rich residences using it as a status symbol, however chip away the wood, and you will find stone at the core of walls of even those buildings.

The Keep of the Allhammer
The grandest building within the city is, without a doubt, the Keep of the Allhammer - the base of operations for the Hammers of Morradin and the residence of the dwarven queen. This colossal structure, is made of black rock decorated with metal inlays, the grandest of rooms utilizing adamantium. The grounds are constantly patrolled by the Hammers, and guests must always have an escort. Within the keep's wall run a channels of magma, used to heat the buildings and most importantly - the forges. It is here that lies the only forge capable of smelting adamantine on the continent of Velinde. The greatest artisans wait months for the opportunity to use the forge and create marvels of engineering. Even still the only man capable of working with adamantine to the standard of a master craftsman is the leader of the Hammers - Bjorn Truesmith.
