General

Stormgamalbondgard was a small town in the southlands of Svenska near the border of Matuwa. Officially non-existent, it was controlled by the vampire lords of the Dead Court and served as a prison farm as part of a treaty between the Dead Court and the living realms to ensure peace. It was the hometown of Kalen Hornraven and stood until it was razed by him following the defeat of Lokaci Wuce and the remnants of the Dead Court.

Description

Stormgamalbondgard was a small, self-sufficient town with a diverse community due to its nature as a prison farm. The community comprised of criminals under the effects of memory altering magic, who were kept and monitored by Maximillan Wartark to grow the population for the Dead Court to eventually harvest. The town remained as a farming town with the residents living the lives that they had been altered into believing were real.

History

Stormgamalbondgard was originally a small farming town in the southlands of Svenska before it was ceded to the Dead Court as part of a treaty between the realms of Valinde and Wuce. The treaty meant that the living realms would provide criminals to the Dead Court every 20 years for the vampiric kingdom to use as a living farm. The treaty was kept as a secret between the governments of the living realms until it was discovered by the Order of the Brown Dragon in the year 772 of the 4th era. By that time, the town had been used for hundreds of years and had provided thousands of victims to the Dead Court.

The town was investigated by the Order of the Brown Dragon and the discovery of its true nature led to the formation of an alliance that resulted in the defeat of the Dead Court. The town remained populated until Kalen Hornraven led a band of soldiers to rescue the remaining residents. At his order, the town was raised to the ground almost in its entirely save for the temple which was reconsecrated in honour of Torm. A stele was raised in honour of the victims of the treaty.
