Description

Vasil, born as Ver-nik Kunchrom is one of the three founders of the city of Stendolin. He is also the man responsible for the creation of theIndependent Cities Movement.

Appearance

Vasil is a middle-aged male elf man, dressed in working-class clothes. In the past, he was a well-built dwarven man, before his death and reincarnation into his new body.

Personality

Vasil is a cunning and driven man, whose distaste for Dragomir, lead him to create the I.C.M. He appears to have a deep hatred of King Dragomir I and his descendants for destroying the city he founded and causing the suffering of his people. He is well-spoken and able to attract people to his cause, but has been shown to keep secrets when it is convenient for him, such as the fact that he used to rule Stendolin.

Biography

Early Life

Ver-nik was born as a dwarf in the time before the Unification, where he rose to prominence as a hero. Together with two other people, he founded the city of Stendolin. During Dragomir's conquest, he fought in the city to the last moment, before being killed. He was later reincarnated by an unknown person as an elf. Finding himself in this new body and taking on the name Vasil, he looked on, as his people suffered under Dragomir rule. Dissatisfied with this, he began working to overthrow the king, his efforts eventually culminating in the founding of the I.C.M.

Current

A few years prior to the events of the campaign, Vasil found a distressed Thalia, looking for her mother. He told her he was a friend of her mother's and explained to her that her mother had been taken by the Dragosila and would be executed. After failing to stop the execution, he would convince Thalia to join the I.C.M.

During a committee meeting a few years later, in the Atanasoff lake house, north of Stendolin, they would be attacked by demons and saved by the party. There Vasil met Valeyo, who shared the goals of the I.C.M, but disapproved of their methods. Vasil was told of the death of the Emisar in Stendolin and the fact that the crown has allowed the city to run elections. Valeyo then asked how he could help and Vasil asked him to contact Raya in Skalenvru, whose help he had been unsuccessful in getting so far.
