Shook by what happened, Milivoj headed upstairs and started knocking on people's doors and telling them what had happened. They began planning, with Valeyo suggesting they inform the Baron and start tracking the Telescope immediately. Cassini got a ping from the east. Otto sent the Baron a message and was told that Isobella would be with them shortly to listen to their explanation. The party departed from the Storm' Scion and followed the ping to Priestess Gemma's home. Cassini felt the item was inside and a bit down. There were no guards positioned outside the house and the group decided to wait for Isobella.

A few minutes later, a raven flew above and swooped down to land next to them, before transforming into the form of Isobella. The group explained what had happened and she agreed that they were the victims of a crime. As such, the priestess would be dealt with by the Baron and they would have leave to do what they will. Valeyo asked about consequences from the normal guards and she wrote them a permit from the Baron that would protect their forceful entry, but not sanction violence. They them began making their way towards the side door. Shiek had seen her come out of it and into her garden before and so they chose to make it their point of entry. A light could be seen upstairs as they approached.

Using the silence spell to make their climb over the fence easier and Shiek got to work on the side door. He got it open and the party rushed into a large dining room, where armour suits were on the four corners. Shiek pointed out the rooms they had been in and the group started searching the remaining ones. They found an kitchen, an office and a ballroom, but none had the basement entrance. Valeyo tried playing the piano in the ballroom, hoping its tune may open a secret passage, but that proved futile. After exploring the whole ground floor, Otto clocked that there was a space on the floor, that they haven't been in yet, pointing at the wall behind the piano. After examining it closely, Otto found no way to open it through the ball room. Cassini decided to use stone shape to open a hole in the wall, which caused all of the armor suits to attack. The group made their way to the basement where they could see a vault of sorts, containing the telescope, a gem, a studded suit of armour and a book. Valeyo grabbed the telescope activating a trap, which animated more armour suits and released poison gas. Immediately, Otto opened a portal to the street and the group fled through it, leading the armours along, which got slashed by the shards of stained glass created by the portal. The group finished off the armours and Shiek ran back into the vault to grab the opened book he had seen, hoping it related to the Telescope. The book was written in glowing ink and a language he didn’t understand. On a nearby bookshelf was a book chained to the wall with a padlock. He managed to free the book from the wall, grab the opened glowing book and ran away through the door. The group then returned to the Storm's Scion.

Valeyo said this went as well as it could have. Shiek showed the group the books. They both seemed ancient, but the one with glowing text was better maintained and written in Celestial. Shiek got to work opening the chained book an unlocked it. Before opening it, Otto cast detect magic and found the locked one mundane, but the other one was magical. Now reassured there were no traps, Shiek opened the chained book. It was written in ancient form of Elvish, that is hard to decipher. However, it didn't take long for Cassini to deduce that this book is old enough to have been written before Arvandor was sealed, as it referred to the Moonlit Twins, as less of siblings and more as a single divine entity that reflect each other. One entity of misfortune and despair and the other of luck and hope, reflecting the opposing phases of the moon. Shiek volunteered to look over the bag of holding when the rest are sleeping in the future and the group agreed. Following that, Milivoj stood up from the table and said he was heading to bed to catch up on sleep while the others remained awake, with Cassini starting to study the ancient book.
