Cassini was pouring over the ancient tome, but the form of Elvish slowed down his efforts significantly. What little he grasped, gave him the impression that it was a different book from the one he had come for, but this was likely the source of the other one. Cassini stayed up while the rest of the party went to bed. At around noon, all had risen and were gathered at a table downstairs. Valeyo suggested Cassini look over the book in Celestial, while he was at it, as they may be forced to return in. An look through it, revealed that the tome contained the accounts of a high-ranking angel. It never mentioned their name, but it did contain stories of their life. They were from Light's Blessing in Elysium and it mentioned a large battle and the "Incineration of the Seed". The "Seed" was a tree, growing beautifully and just, but it was starting to turn to wither. This was all had read for the time and would continue later.

The group received confirmation that they are allowed to use the Atanasoff account to bid for the telescope up to a maximum of 36k gold.

33/07/5-10

The group were gathered in the morning preparing for the auction start at 13:00. They went over who is bidding on what and what the seating plans were. Milivoj and Valeyo would be at the front betting on the book, while the other without Shiek would be bidding on the telescope. Shiek would sit alone at the back to look over the room. With their plans done, they headed to the auction house.

There were many familiar faces - the Emisar, High Priestess Gemma, the Khert, the Baron, Janske, the Red Genasi, her knight and the man that Milivoj saw take the gun in his dream. Valeyo approached the Emisar's table and Milivoj joined him. He greeted the Emisar and look over at her companions - the Khert and Mr Novak. He asked who they were, but said he already knew Mr Novak, who just glared at him. She introduced the Khert and Valeyo introduced himself. The Khert nodded at Valeyo and asked the Emisar how she knew this "cripple". She said Valeyo was a well-established business associate. Valeyo said that this was his lot in life, couldn’t be a great warrior so had to go in to business, something the Khert would be familiar with. They then said their goodbyes and left, noting that the Emisar was quite nervous. While leaving Milivoj noticed that she had a brochure in her bag, where she had circled the big ticket item - Iron Fang. Meanwhile, Sapphira was at the bar, where she was approached by the Baron. They ordered drinks and he said it was good to see her again, before inquiring if she was buying. She said it wasn't her scene and he agreed, saying there are only a couple of items of interest. He was mostly focused on keeping an eye on some parties following recent incidents. She said it was surprising to see a part of their history for sale, indicating the ring. He said it was interesting and wouldn't mind having it. He was surprised that its owners didn't keep a better hold of it, as it was a significant cultural artifact. He picked up his drink and told her he would need her and her friends to fill him in on the details of the events of a few nights ago. He warned her not to leave before doing so, lest he had to put a bounty on their heads. Shiek approached the Genasi who waved at him and said she was surprised they were also at the auction, having seen them around the Storm' Scion. She introduced herself as Crimson, a traveler and priestess of the Raven Queen from Medora. The then elbowed the man in the armour and introduced Everard. She said he had been long dead, having offered his body in service to the queen over 1000 years ago. Shiek asked how her god felt about him being undead, but she said he is very dead, having lived during the time of the Temerian Empire. Shiek asked if she had her eye on anything in particular. She pointed at the ring and said most of her other interest was in smaller items. Shiek wished her luck and headed into the room.

Valeyo and Milivoj made their way to the back of the main auction hall where there were a few more familiar faces. Mazirt and the dwarf from the Order were present, as well as Yorhaza and Ignominios. To Valeyo's surprise, Raya was there, as well. At the front was the man they had seen in the painting - Daniel, the owner of the auction house. Sar at the very front was a large individual in brass armour-like body with their head floating above the body. Valeyo and Milivoj sat down by Raya who greeted them. Valeyo said he was surprised to see her and she joked about wanting to buy the book for her friend. The three of them talked about the other patrons, Valeyo pointing out the Giff in the armour and remarking on the cultural exchange that took place with regards to fashion. Soon after, Otto, Cassini and Shiek positioned themselves at the back row. Sapphira sat separately on the right. At the very front was the mysterious entity known as the Carysil, that Cassini had told his friends about. It looked like a figure of smooth metal with its limbs hovering slightly apart from the torso. A blue glow, emanated from the gaps and it was stood perfectly still in its chair.

With that, the auction preamble began. Daniel went over how the auction would run and bidding began on the consumables. None of the party bid on them and soon they continued to the actual items.

10. Flame Tounge Gem - Raya 11k (1k from Milivoj to stick it to his dad). Here Valeyo and Raya played around with the Khert to jack up the price, eventually beating him.
11. Ring of Three Wishes - At 14k Crimson suddenly joined and began bidding recklessly. She eventually at 21k got the ring, after Milivoj joined to push it a little bit higher.

The sale of the ring raised the tension to the maximum. Cassini noticed Mazir take a stone out of his pocket and whisper into it "They are at the back of the auction house". When this happened, a massive flash of light filled the room. A thunderous boom deafened the room and as the light faded, standing over crimson was the Pillar of the Three Gods, High Priest of Stomrgard, Kalen Hornraven. As this happened, the Carysil vanished and the knight behind Crimson held his hand out and an orb of fire shot out.

Combat erupted and chaos ensued, people were trampling over each other to run. Yorhaza was dead and being carried by Ignaminios, Otto rushed to the middle and Milivoj began attacking the knight together with the 7ft tall winged Kalen with the wings coming from his back. Looking at him, Milivoj saw that his armour was struggling to contain him, being closer to a monster in human form. In the middle of combat, the Khert pulled out a whistle and blew into it, which produced no sound. The Death Knight's second hellfire orb wipe out more of the room, downing Valeyo and Otto. Ainar, the man with Gemma, pulled out a knife from his sleeve, which had a rope attached to it and threw it at Daniel. It stabbed into him and pulled him close. He then shoved him against the pedestal with the telescope knocking it over before grabbing it. Kalen smashed the death knight again, before saying, "If I have to kill you again, there will be more trouble.".  Otto was healed back and managed to get to Yorhaza to revivify him.
